Create Your First Academy

Learn how to create and manage academies in Learniverse.

Getting Started with Your Academy

When you first sign up for Learniverse, you'll be prompted to create your first academy. An academy is your own branded learning environment that houses all your courses and learning materials. This is a crucial first step as all your content and learners will be organized within this academy.

Creating Your Academy During Signup

Set Up Your Academy

  1. Academy Name: Enter a descriptive name for your learning academy (e.g., "Learniverse"). This will be the main name displayed across your learning platform

  2. Academy Code: A unique identifier is auto-generated, but you can customize it. Limited to 5 characters maximum (e.g., "LEARN")

  3. Description (Optional): Add a brief explanation about your academy's purpose. Helps students understand what your academy is about

  4. Subdomain: Create a custom web address for your academy. Use only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.

  5. Academy Color: Choose a primary color for your academy's theme. This color will appear on buttons, badges, and other UI elements. You can always change it later in the settings.

  6. Click the Create Academy button to proceed

Add Another Academy

If you'd like to create a new academy, follow these simple steps:

  1. Click on your current academy name in the top left sidebar
  2. Select "Create new Academy" from the dropdown menu
  3. Repeat the same process to create another Academy

Now that your academy is set up, it's time to Add Your Learners and start creating engaging content!
